How To, question
I do most of my questions and wk.book uploads in excel forum.
Sometimes it is not required to upload a workbook, but a section of a worksheet. I seen these in other posts, looks like a screen shot, but is it ?
So how to show a section of a worksheet, if it is not Cntrl Print Screen keys ?
The other question, is a facebook question, I don't have FB and not really interested, but this forum has a FB link before logging in.
Is there an advantage to be linked to FB for excel questions etc or is this just a social thing?
I'll assume you're using Win7+ in which case use the Snipping Tool which is builtin. You can capture the entire window or just a portion of it by a simple click and drag. You'll then need to save the clip to a file then attach the file using the Attachment 37450 icon. Ignore the warnings about file type you can actually upload almost any type of file using the icon and it will tell you if you select a type it won't allow then you just zip it and upload the zip file. Check out this free tool - Greenshot. See this article about future plans for the software - Current Development Status and Plans for the Future. They will keep a version available for XP after they release version 2.0 which will require Windows 7 or later.
