Word 2013; Lists
Every now and then i tidy my templates and try again to understand and make list templates work consistently. Possibly a lost cause, but I live in hope!
What is annoying me at the moment is that I have created several multi-level lists in a template; they cope with bullets, alpha numbers lists etc. What is frustrating that even though they are used in my document when i look at the multi-level menu list under "List in Current Documents" I only see the Headings MLL. I do see "Current List" under the top level menu section. Has anyone ever seen others in this section of the menu, and if so how did they achieve this.
The reason for wanting to see them is to edit them when necessary, and see what I have available.
I should explain that the styles I have associated with my MLLs are NOT "list styles" I have avoided using these because historically "specialist" styles were a bit flaky. So I create styles as normal, then use the MLL to define a list and the bullet or numbering, this updates the style to apply the bullet or numbering and the indents etc.
Any comments or ideas?

Thank you, I know this well and should have reread my own notes based on Shauna's excellent guide. I have been away from Word for a while and so got a bit rusty. I thought I was doing the right thing but then realised that I MUST create the "list style" (originally called a list template I think, hence my confusion now it is a "style") then link all the paragraph styles. NOT as i was doing it creating a new multi-level-list
