Lost access to Server 2012 Administrator account after removal of Exchange and Active Directoy
I was doing a test installation of Exchange Server 2013 on Server 2012 (on one server). I did not have AD installed.
After removal of exchange and AD the Administrator user account has been removed. It created a Administrator.domain folder in c:/users/ with the username of Administrator. But this is not my \users\Administrator folder. My other 3 accounts were removed as well, but the folders are still there -- same problem.
The only accounts I can see now are the NEW Administrator.000 account and guest.
The default Administrator account is not viewable anywhere and the c:\users\administrator folder is intact. I tried to create an account called Administrator, but it created another folder called users\administrator.000
Also, my SSL certificate for my website got messed up in the process: Now I get this error: www.<domain>.com uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is not trusted because it is self-signed.
How to do I link the folder up to a user account or recover my default Administrator account? And any ideas on how to fix the SSL issue? I can access via http no problem.
