mail merge invoice question - multiple lines *maybe* on some inoices?
ive used mailmerge before and know the basics of it. the problem im having is some of my documents wont have the same number of lines....
I would like to have an excel file with invoices. most invoices (80%) will be simple 1 line invoices.
the excel file will have:
INVOICE #, QTY, DESCRIPTION, PRICE, EXT PRICE (price*QTY). easy, next line, next invoice.
the problem i have is some of them will have multiple lines. Can i insert a "pagebreak" in the excel file so it knows once it hits that section, the mail merge should goto a new document and start over till it hits another pagebreak?
or do i need to do the ones with multiple lines in another tab on the same excel file and run them through manually?
the one line ones are super easy, trying to find a solution for the others.
