    Excel build-in commands

I have done a lot of Word (97-2007) VBA programming. Many times I have written code to replace Word's build-in commands with my own subs, by using the same name for my sub as the name of the build-in...

    Excel 2007 doesn't quit

I use Excel 2007 32-bit on a Win7 Home Premium 64-bit PC. That worked fine until I did some VBA programming in PERSONAL.XLSB. Now when I click the application-close button (top-right in window), just...

    Slanted cell borders (Excel (All))

A friend of mine asked me to help her out. I doubt that it can be done, but I'm not much of an Excel user.
Her boss wants her to to not only have slanted text in the first row cells, as she has now,...

  11. Re: Text form fields and character style (2003/SP2)

We too had problems regarding FormFields and MS Mincho when we updated from Office97 to Office2003. We eventually decided to remove MS Mincho from our PC's and that resulted in the Arial font being...

    Thanks for the confirmation Don.
  13. Re: Add custom toolbar name to 'customize' menu (Win XP SP2 - XL2003 UK)

Maybe the custom toolbar is "protected". Don't know much about Excel, but in Word it's possible to hide a toolbar from the list in Tools - Customize - Toolbars, with one line of VBA code:

  16. Re: Any reason key map gets undone? (Word 2003 SP2)

    You're welcome Kim.
This little sub prints all keybindings found in the attached template of a document at the location of the cursor in that document. So you can check if any is present:

    Sub...
  17. Re: Any reason key map gets undone? (Word 2003 SP2)

    Hi Kim,

That's exactly the reason why keybindings are removed when you run VBA Code Cleaner: all modules are first removed from the project and then added again. To add the keybindings again, you...

    Hi macropod,

  24. Re: Page numbering field code problem (Word 2004 for the Mac)

I think (cannot test at the moment) you can also use

    { PAGE } of { SECTIONPAGES }

to get the count of only the pages in that section, so you can use that if the rest of the doc is only one...
