If this assumption is true, it looks like another good reason to wait and see what the heck MS is up to. It's hard to keep track of what MS is actually going to do.
Unfortunately MS keeps making...
My plan is in post #8 ( a long way back to the front of this thread ). ;)
On the new HP laptop that I just bought with an Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260, I had the same problem and had to go into the property's for the adapter and check a box for it to connect to the...
 There's that language barrier again ( kip ). :o
Maybe this will clear up some misconceptions.
By googling your adapter, I see that there are many complaints of driver problems with that adapter and they all seem to be the same complaints as yours. Have you checked the HP support site for new...
Just out of curiousity, have you changed the drive letters around for some reason?
The Drive letters look completely out of sync. Are OS C:, User Data E: partitions on 1 HDD and Local Disk G: a...
You'll do just fine now that you know to use custom install to delete the previous partitions. I'm certainly no computer genius and if I can do it, I know dad gum well that you can
Win 10 is going to have a better snipping tool.

There has been much discussion on the forums about downloading an ISO of 10 and burning it to Disc just for those emergency's.
LOL, I know the feeling.
I bought a new laptop ( HP ProBook 450 G2, Win 7 Pro downgraded from 8.1 Pro ) and am in the process of getting it prepared for win 10. I got it set up for the OEM side of...
My thought is that you can shrink/delete the first partition and extend the C: partition.
Coochin is far smarter at this than I am but is this helpful?
Removing a partition
From the Computer...
Looks like Samsung has changed their mind after being discovered, LOL
"Samsung to stop disabling Windows Update in 'a few days'"...
Looks like the directions are a little different between win 7 & 8.
Good tip RG :o:
Good explanation although I'm not sure if I comprehend all of it. But basically I have a HDD that needs to be defragged even though it has a solid state chip on it, is that correct?
