  1. Re: LinkSys Router with Cable email not compatible

I'm sure this issue was resolved several months ago, but I just ran into it yesterday with the same Linksys Router (WRT54G) and Shaw Cable in Canada. After setting up a mixed wired and wireless...
  2. Re: OLXP: Doesn't remember POP password... (XP)

    Hi Dave,

    I don't think that's the case. We're a pretty small non-profit organization with an over-extended peer-to-peer network. (Only 1 part-time IT person). Jefferson's probably on the right...
  3. Re: OLXP: Doesn't remember POP password... (XP)

    Hi Jefferson,

The remember password box in E-mail Accounts has been checked and the problem still occurs. I'm not sure about the Windows XP Log on. (Not near the machine right now).

    Thanks for...

Does anyone have a solution to this problem?
We are dealing with the same issue on one of our machines running Outlook XP on WinXP Home Edition. I use OL2000 at home, so I'm not familiar with...

  6. Charts from text data in Access (Office 2000 SR-3)

I'm a relative newcomer to Access, so I apologize if this is a stupid question.
Is there a simple way to turn text information in fields into column or pie charts? For example, say a field has a...

Slide Master and Flying Text (2000 SR-1)

I think I already know the answer to this question, but here goes:
When you have a logo on a Slide Master, is it possible to have text fly in behind the logo on a single slide?

Re: Windows 2000 compatibility (Project 4.1)

    Gary,

    Thanks again for the help.
I know this is starting to get off topic, but what's your opinion of Project 2000?
I use Office 2000 and actually prefer it to Office XP--no task panes, etc....

There aren't any 4.1a downloads at the Microsoft site. I went ahead and installed 4.1 anyway. So far no problems, but because I'm a complete beginner with Project I haven't tried anything...

    Re: Office 2000 Developer (2000)

There's a copy for sale on eBay right now. The current bid is $375.00 US. If memory serves me well, Office Developer 2000 usually ends up selling for between $500 and $600 on eBay.

    And of course,...

    Re: learning macros (excel/word 2002)

I've just started to learn about macros and VBA. I'd recommend "Word 2000 Developer's Handbook" by Guy Hart-Davis for Word 2000. It a huge book--1250 pages--but quite readable, and it walks you...
