    You would have to make a button with an event procedure to add "mailto:" to the e-mail address.
    If you make it a hyperlink it adds "http:// " so it should just me a plain text box.

    Thanks. That works. For the old records:
    What I have done is tab to the field email1 and pressed F2 and replaced "http://" with "mailto:". Copied "mailto:" to clipboard and tabbed to the next...

    Yes, that worked. It was for a database with one form. I used it only on a copy where I did not want the user to see code.

    Email from hyperlink (Access 2000)

    I have two fields on a form for e-mail-1 and e-mail-2. I tried clicking on the link while Outlook is open and nothing happens. Outlook is default e-mail.

    Should I use two bottons with coding?

    I see what you mean. I would need to Requery "Order Details Extended" that the subform is based on. I'' try that.

    The control if the first one. I have put code on the Add New Products form's the Save and the Close buttong also. So it does work OK and does not slow it up as there are under 1000...

    I remember from 1-2-3 and Excel that F9 did recalculation and that worked. Now the code reads:

    The subform like the one in Northwind has a combo box for the ProductID.
    I tired code to requerry here but it goes into a loop and cannot do anything else.
