    Re: History (IE7)

As can be seen, all it lists are the two screenshots I have posted here. Expanding on some older folders in the History actually shows a couple of websites visited, but nowhere near the full history...

I assume you mean the folder marked with the red circle against it? It was initially checked, so I unchecked and took another look at what showed up (I will have to make separate posts for...

    Joe

I tried your suggestion of copying the History folder from the Default User to my user name, and all it did was give me a message that...

    Re: History (IE7)

    Leif

As shown above, trying to copy the History folder simply didn't work.

    >>Otherwise, I would be tempted to create a new profile and see if that works.<<

    How do I do that?

    >>Did you try...

    Re: History (IE7)

Back again... I just checked under 'Default User' instead of my own username, and there IS a History folder, but with nothing in it. I visited a couple of websites before coming here, but they don't...

Here is a screenshot in WE of the path you suggested. As you can see - there's no History folder. I am using Windows XP.

    Re: History (IE7)

This is what I see when I click on the star. It's a list of image files I have recently used, not a list of the web pages recently visited, which is what I want to see.

Well - that's what I thought too, but all it shows me is a list of my Favourites I have visited. Useless.

    History (IE7)

In the previous version of IE, there was a 'History' button, which when clicked opened a LH pane which showed a list of web pages browsed that day, the previous day, the previous week etc. In IE7,...

You're a star Thank you very much for that link as it seems to have solved the problem.

Now I'm wondering...is this issue typical after installing IE7? Or did I do (or not do) something to...

    Customise settings in IE (V7)

I've just downloaded and installed IE7. Now every time I launch the program, instead of showing my home page (google) I get the 'customise your settings' screen. I've been through and customised, but...

    Re: Background image (2003)

I understand that the image is in a background i.e. I know it's not part of the actual slide. What I don't understand is how to replace it. It seems I must create a new template.

    Re: Background image (2003)

I will check this when I get back to work tomorrow, but I suspect it may just be easier to create a new template rather than change the existing one. But thanks for the suggestion.

    Re: Background image (2003)

I've just done a bit more reading and it appears I may be confusing master slides with templates. So what has probably been created is a template, and it is probably not able to be changed. However,...

    Re: Excel error (97-SR2)

That PDFWriter.xla rings a bell. I am fairly sure that was what was causing the problem in Word. However, in Excel, when I go to Tools>Addins, it is not listed there. What next? PS I also get a...
