    Word DocumentBeforeSave (Word2000)

Has any guru here managed to get a value other than True for the SaveAsUI parameter?
This Google groups Post says in part "Unfortunately. Word does not pass this value into this DocumentBeforeSave event. The parameter is true every time!!!", and that reflects my experience.

My event code works fine in Excel2000, so well that I decided to paste it into Word.
Whereas Excel2000 gives me appropriate values for SaveAsUI (True and False), Word2000 seems to pass always the value True.

It's broken in Word 2000 and it won't be repaired there any more. But it was corrected in Word 2002 (aka XP).

    Not quite.
Your replies always make me feel more hopeful, and that's how I used to feel before I met Microsoft, and I was younger then, so it's more like a virtual youngerness, as I would say if I were writing a Microsoft VBA dictionary.
For Word/VBA, as distinct from Excel/VBA.
