    Tabular Form (Access 2000)

I have created a tabular form so that I can view several rows of data at once. The problem is those fields based on a lookups in the underlying table contain multiple entries (within each record) .

For example the 'status' field does not display the value contained in the underlying table but displays all four values that could be selected from the lookup relating to this field.

Could you let me know how to resolve this ? Is there a property that I change ?

What kind of control do you use for this field? It sounds as if you used a list box, it should be a combo box.

BTW, were the replies to <post:=651,187>post 651,187</post:> and <post:=654,928>post 654,928</post:> helpful? You didn't provide any feedback, so other Loungers don't know whether the problem has been solved...

    Hi there

    1) Open your form in Design Mode
    2) Right hand Mouse click the combo
    3) Select Properties

    On the resulting window:

    4) Click the Format Tab
    5) In Column Count see if it states 4
    6) In Column Widths type 0cm;0cm;3cm;0cm

This makes column 1,2 and 4 zero width and column 3 three cm wide

You can adjust the widths now to what you want.

    7) On the Data Tab ensure that the Bound column is 1 (this assumes a PK)

    Hans,

Thanks. It was as simple as that I just needed a list box.

Hope to reply to other posts (654,928 651,187) soon. Sorry for the delay.
