    Prob with permissions (2002)

Access Security is set up but when I click a button to open a form I see all the usual controls (Navigation Buttons, etc.) but someone else clicks the same button and only see the form background.

Is this related to Permissions? Which specific permission (or lack of) is likely to cause this behaviour? Thanks, Andy.

    Re: Prob with permissions (2002)

If a user doesn't have permissions to add or edit records in the table(s) in the record source of the form, and if either of the following conditions holds, the form will be blank:
    - The form is set up to display a new record (for example because the Data Entry property is set to Yes)
    - There are no records in the record source.
    - There are records in the record source but the user doesn't have permission to see them.

Thank you. I'll check this. It's probably the combination of permissions that's causing the problem. Andy.
