merge to new document (Word 2003)

I have a merge document pulling data from Excel. I know that I can merge to a new document, but is there a way to merge each record to a document by itself.

In other word if I have 250 records can I merge and have 250 new document each with the information for just one record?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Word always merges to a single document. You can use a macro to split the document into separate documents: see Doug Robbin's reply here

    Hans

I reviewed Doug Robbin's reply and it seems like what I want. I will test it when I get a chance.

    Thanks for the link.
