    Number keypad for fractions ? (Excel 2003)

    Hi

    If I am using Ariel Font I a can use the number keypad to create the following

    Alt+172 =

    Steve has lready answered your question, but you can find the Alt+... combination for many characters as follows:
    - In Windows, select Start | (All) Programs | Accessories | System Tools | Character Map.
    - Click on a (non-standard) character.
    - The keystroke will be shown in the lower right corner - see screenshot.

    I devised a list of common Numeric Keypad characters some time back, and attach it as a text file. You will note that you save yourself one keypress by typing Alt+243 to get
    <font face="Script MT Bold"><font color=blue><big><big>John</big></big></font color=blue></font face=script>
