    Windows Wireless cannot connect

Hi this is a very strange problem. I have three laptops that will not connect to my wireless network at home. I have replaced the router twice one d-link and the replacement is a new netgear DG34A, but still having the same problem. The computer (Mini tower) that is connected to the router directly via network cable is ok, I can view websites fine. On all three laptops will not pick up the network I created. The strange thing is that I can connect to the wireless via my Nokia N95 mobile phone. When I search for the network on my N95 phone it picks up the network, I put in the wireless keys and connect fine. I can

You surely aren't saying that the home and the office routers both use the same SSID and WEP key? Do the laptops when at home recognise that your home network is present (when playing with Network Connection, I mean)?

Yes home and office use same ssid and wep key, It's just easy that way. No it does not pick up any signal from the router on all three laptops (In network connection). My n95 mobile phone picks up the connection strait away. It's really wierd.

    Any idea.

Are you using Windows to manage these network connections? or the software that may have come with your router?

Are your firewalls blocking the access?

No they are not blocking access. It's really strange because as soon as I take all three laptops to my office they connect strait away, to the same router and ssid and wep keys as my home. I really can't make it out.

Have you tried running a wire from the laptop to the router? This would confirm that you're able to connect to the network at least.

Yes the internet works fine through a wire, as my main computer is connected VIA cable.

But, are the workgroup names the same at both home and office?

The network at work is also a "Workgroup" and NOT a "Domain"?

Yes my network at the office is just a stand alone netowrk, not connected to a domain.

    Thanks
