    Saving Context Menus (Word 2003)

    Dear Loungers,

I know how to change context menus. What i want to know is must these changes always reside in Normal or is there a way to have a global template with them? The only way I can think to do this is to have a global template make the changes to the context menus then save Normal. Is there another way?

You can store customizations to context menus in a global template:
    - Open the global template in Word as if it was a document.
    - Select Tools | Customize...
    - Activate the Toolbars tab of the Customize dialog.
    - Tick the check box of Shortcut Menus.
    - Activate the Commands tab of the Customize dialog.
    - Make sure that your template is selected in the "Save in" dropdown.
    - Customize the shortcut menus the way you want.
    - Close the Customize dialog when you're done.
    - Save and close the global template.
