    Contacts Subfolders (Outlook 2007)

In Outlook 2000, I had several sub-folders under Contacts and could access them when composing a new email message.
    When I exported them to OL 07, they show up as items under "My Contacts" along with the Contacts folder, itself;
now, when I use the Address Book feature when composing an Email Message,
all I can access is the Contacts Folder or the "Address Book" itself, which is empty.

What do I need to do to be able to access each folder from a new email message?

    Re: Contacts Subfolders (Outlook 2007)

    Hi Ray,

I had this same problem just recently. Try this:

    1) Click on "Contacts."
    2) Right-click on one of the contact groups you created.
    3) Click "Properties."
    4) Click the "Outlook Address Book" tab
    5) Check the "Show this folder as an e-mail Address Book" box
    6) Click "OK"

Your entries should now show up in the Address book form, and Outlook should start finding entries in them when using auto-fill. <img src=/S/cheers.gif border=0 alt=cheers width=30 height=16>

    hope this helps!

I don't have Outlook 2007 yet, but in older versions, you have to do the following for each (sub)folder you want to show up in the address book:
    - Right-click the (sub)folder.
    - Select Properties from the popup menu.
    - Activate the Outlook Address Book tab.
    - Tick the check box "Show this folder as an e-mail Address Book".
    - Click OK.
