Including movie file in pps and ppt (Powerpoint 2003)

I am new to powerpoint and I am having trouble saving a presentation with a movie (.wmv) included in it. I made a presentation 2 days ago that had quite a lot of still pics and when I saved the file it was 5megs in ppt and 3 megs in pps format which is just fine so I decided to make another one with a wmv included..

This new presentation has a .wmv included and it saves as a 238k file so its obviously not imbedding the movie. Of course when I play it from the same pc the movie plays but if I take the 238k file to amother pc without the wmv it obviously does not play. The purpose of this project is to email the presentation so what do I have to do to get it to include the wmv in the pps or ppt.

Thanks and be gentle on the Newbie

    Cheers

    Welcome to Woody's Lounge!

    You could do the following:
    - Place the .wmv file in the same folder as the presentation.
    - (Re-)insert the .wmv file into the presentation.
    - Save the presentation.
    - Create a zip file with the presentation and .wmv file.
    - E-mail the zip file.

You can also use the free utility PFCExpress. This will do the above for you.

    Thanks Hans,

I made a pps and sent the wmv with it and it worked. The PFC Express looks like a good answer as well
    Cheers
