    CSS and IE7 (FrontPage 2003 SP2)

Using the tutorial, CSS Express Pure CSS Drop-Down and Popup Menus by PVII, at: http://www.projectseven.com/tutorials/navi..._hide/index.htm I have made a horizontal drop down menu bar that can be seen at http://www.mewalker.co.uk/members. This menu appears to display correctly in both IE7 and Firefox. (I haven't tested it in other browsers.) I have also made a similar menu for the Web site at; http://www.mcjtraining.co.uk. This menu displays correctly in Firefox but not in IE7 where it is a mess!

Could the difference be due to the second menu being in a shared top border whereas the first is in the page? I want to use shared borders to make the task of creating new pages more convenient. The url to the top border in the second instance is: http://www.mcjtraining.co.uk/_borders/top.htm.

I think you have answered your own question in the last paragraph. I would keep it in one page.

Thank you for your response Jerry - no more than I expected. But I had hopes there might be a work-a-round.

Hi Malcolm... sorry, I sounded like the voice of doom in that last message <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15>

I have had a look at this in IE6 and it works on you Golfing site but not on either of the consultation site examples <img src=/S/shrug.gif border=0 alt=shrug width=39 height=15>. I am tempted to suggest a pure CSS menu dropdown as I reckon it is the way the js file is working (or not)
