Outlook Contacts (2002 sp3)

Help please. Outlook contacts. In the past i have been able to search with a key word to locate certain contacts. The words were often listed in the lower section (notes section?). Outlook will no longer return contacts based on any words in the lower section. Does anyone know why this happened and/or how to fix it? Any help appreciated

Make sure that the "Find" button in the toolbar is on (depressed). If it is, there will be a search bar immediatley above the Contacts pane. If you type your keyword in the search box in that toolbar and click Find Now, it should search the notes too. This doesn't happen if you type the keyword in the search box in the toolbar.

Thanks for your response Hans. The find button is depressed, type the key word, search in contacts, click the FIND NOW button. No results from any note entries. Any other possible solution?

The Find bar has an Options dropdown on the right hand side. Click this and make sure that there is a check box next to the first option.
If that doesn't help either, select Advanced Find from the Options dropdown. You can specify how yoy want to search in the dialog that appears.

The Find bar options dropdown, first option solved the problem, and I thought I had tried everything. Thanks you very much, again!
