    Convert Case (2000)

I went to print out my labels and I realized that our system used all capitalized letters for the address while the sales reps used both upper and lower case letters for the contact names and title. It really looks terrible. Is there an easy way to change their columns to all caps?

If you want to change the values permanently, you can use an update query:
    - Create a query in design view.
    - Add the relevant table.
    - Add the fields you want to update to the query grid.
    - Select Query | Update Query. This will add a line 'Update to' to the query grid.
    - In the column for a field named MyField, enter the following in the 'Update to' line:

    UCase([MyField])

    - Do this for all fields you want to change, using the appropriate field names, of course.
    - Select Query | Run and confirm.

You can also set the Format property of a field or of a text box to > (a single "greater than" character). This will cause the field to be displayed as all caps, without changing the stored values.
