    Word Mailmerge (2003)

    Hi,

I have an excel list of names, addresses and invoice numbers that I'm trying to mailmerge into letters. I can do a simple mailmerge of 1 invoice number to one letter. But some addresses need to have more than one invoice number listed. I am assuming it is some sort of a nextif record field or something but I'm lost.

    Help much appreciated

    Derek

You should be able to use the technique described in How to use mail merge to create a list sorted by category in Word 2002 (mail merge in Word 2003 works the same as in Word 2002). It's not trivial, so read carefully, and try it out on a copy of your document first.

    Thanks Hans,

You are right, it is not trivial, but am trying to find some piece and quiet to look into what it is, or isn't, doing!!

    Thanks again
