    Vista to Xp? (Windows XP)

I was on a machine that has Vista and Office 2007. I copied some PowerPoint templates on to my Thumb Disk. The name had a .PPTX extension on it.

I went to my home computer that has XP and Office 2003. I open PowerPoint and try to open the file off my thumb disk and it doesn't allow me to do that. Why? How can I do it? I know the .PPTX extension must weight in on the problem. Thanks.....

Office 2007 templates are NOT backward compatible. I know of no template converters.

    Al,
These will allow the users of 2003 read 2007 files but NOT the 2007 templates

Also I have found that the converters do not always work. We were having lots of trouble converting some of the Vista Beta documentation during testing.
