    Open files (2003)

This might not be the right forum for this question but I wasn't sure which forum. If I open three separate Excel files, how can I get them to show separately on the taskbar instead of having to click a down arrow and toggle between files?

I figured it out. You right click on the taskbar and click properties. Then uncheck "Group similar taskbar buttons".

There's another relevant setting within Excel itself: the check box labeled "Windows in taskbar" in the View tab of Tools | Options...
If this check box is clear, you'll always see only one button for Excel in the taskbar, regardless of the setting for "Group similar taskbar buttons".
