    Error opening forms (WXpHeSp2 Off2003)

Having re-installed Office I have a problem when running our Access database forms: Undefined function 'Left ' in expression. The button on the form has a simple macro attached to it to open another form - FrmIndividualDataQuery with [INDCode]=[Please enter Clients CODE]. Please help out on this.

Activate the Visual Basic Editor (Atlt+F11).
    Select Tools | References...
There is probably at least one reference among the "checked" ones that starts with MISSING:
Note the names of the missing references, then clear their check boxes and click OK.
Select Debug | Compile <projectname> to test whether the code is now OK.
If you get an error such as "User-defined type not defined", you'll have to turn on a reference again.

    Hi HansV
Many thanks indeed for your response - which solved the problem. The Missing itme that was checked was for the Microsoft Calendar Control, unchecking it worked properly.
