Euroconvert (2004 for Mac)

Has anyone experience with using the euroconvert function? I see where it converts between EU currencies, but did not grok how to get US dollars in or out of it.

In addition to Rory's reply: when the conversion rates from German Marks, French Francs etc. to Euros were determined on December 31, 1998, they were fixed, they didn't change any more. So it is possible to write a simple conversion utility that converts between Euros and Marks, or between Marks and Francs. But the conversion rate of Euros to Dollars changes from day to day. You can use Google to convert, simply enter

    100 USD in EUR

    or

    37 EUR in USD

    in the Google search box.

Thanks for adding that explanation - I just realised my post reads as brusque bordering on rude!

(Edited by rory on 09-Jul-07 12:18. Sorry, that comes across as being sarcastic - it was not intended to be! See Hans' post for a proper explanation. - Rory)
You don't. The US Dollar is not an option for EUROCONVERT as it's not part of the EU.
