    Spacing aftering numbering (2003 SP2 //Win 2K PC)

I am writing a document which is numbered the whole way through. I'd like some spacing automatically after each numbered point rather than hit enter then delete the next automatically generated number. I would like spacing of 1 in the points and then 1.5 in between. All searches have simply sent me tabbing information.

Welcome to the Lounge. If that means you want a bit of space after every para in the document, you can define your Normal style to have some space after. Go to Format - Styles and formatting, then a list of styles should appear on the right. Select the little arrow beside where it says Normal and choose Modify... Click the Format ... button and choose to modify Paragraph. Change Space after to the number of points you would like - 6 pts = half a line, 12 = a whole line. Click OK all the way to get out of the dialog boxes.

Hope that solves what you wanted.
