    KML files from Excel

I was researching how to display multiple locations on Google Maps and I figured out how to do it but I also found it was a little slow if you want to create many "points of interest". The answer, it seems, is by creating a KML file that Google Maps (or Google Earth) can read. This is beyond what I can do (or want to learn) but I did find a converter - an Excel macro - that takes addresses in Excel and converts them into a KML file.

You can find the file in the first post of this thread . I intend to use this to create a map with "pins" showing the location of family and friends across the country.
