File permission error (Office XP/Windows NT SP1)

When user tries to edit and save document to personal network drive receives following error: " word can not complete save due to file permission error."
Documents can be saved to C drive but not to network drive.

    Hi Neena,

Check the virus scanner settings on the server. If using Innoculan/Innoculate, check the settings in Real Time manager and if "Virus Wall Incoming Mode" is selected disable it and restart Real Time Manager.

    Neena,
Since this is a "file permission" you should post this question in the Windows NT Board and if we get any help on this at that point I will cross reference the answer to this thread.
This problem may occur with another Office XP / NT user so the cross reference may help someone else out.
