    pop-up subform (2003)

Hi All, quick question: can a subform be made to behave like a pop-up form? I have a subform (which is not visible) which I want to open and view like a pop-up form. Is this possible?
    Thanks, Van

A subform and a popup form are different objects. A subform is a part of a main form, while a popup form is a separate entity. You cannot make a subform act as a popup form. You can use DoCmd.OpenForm to open a form as a separate entity; this might be the same database object that also acts as the source object for the subform, but if you open it, there is no automatic link to the calling form - a standalone form doesn't have Link Master Fields and Link Child Fields properties. You'd have to manage any linkage using code.
