    Go to Next Record (2003)

    Hello,

I created a form and a subform. I want to be able to enter the information in the subform and when I press the next record go to the main form first field. How can I do this?

See MSKB article ACC2000: How to Move from Subform to Main Form by Using TAB or ENTER (applies to Access 2002 and 2003 as well).

BTW, were the replies to <post:=659,697>post 659,697</post:> helpful?

Yes, the answer to the previous work fine. I took your approach instead of the other because it seem easier. However, I am having trouble with this one. Is there another way to do it? I just want to have the user hit the new record buttom and have it go to the main form first field.

There is no event associated with clicking the New Record button, so as far as I know you cannot intercept that. What problems are you having with the approach suggested by the MSKB article?
