    Re: Cross Tab (2003)

A crosstab query can have multiple row heading fields, but only one column heading field. The values of this field become the names of the fields / columns in the result. It wou;dn't make sense to have two column heading fields.

If you explain what you want to accomplish, someone may be able to suggest an alternative.

    Thanks, Hans.

As you know I have two date fields (NoFindings_Date & Findings_Date) in my table. I have status fields are attached with NoFindgs_Date or Findings_Date. I would like create a monthly summary status reports base on those two date fields.

So what's the best way to do it?

    Regards

    THanks

You can create two crosstab queries, one with NoFindings_Date as column heading and one with Findings_Date as column heading.

    Re: Cross Tab (2003)

You can create a new query based on the two crosstab queries, and join them on Status and StatusID. Add the Status and StatusID field from one of the two queries to the query grid, plus all the dates from both.
