User defined Type not defined (VBA/WORD2000/SR1)

    <P ID="edit"><FONT SIZE=-1>Edited by gwhitfield on 02-Aug-01 09:11.</FONT></P>** Attachment size reduced **

When I try to run my template to create a new document, I get the message :
    User defined type not defined.
Th code that is highlighted is:
    Dim cn As New ADODB.Connection

The rest of the code is attached in a jpg.
    Please advise.

You need to set a reference to the required library. You can do that by going to the Tools Menu (VBA), select References and scroll list to Microsoft ActiveX Data Objects library and making sure it is selected. Also look for Microsoft ActiveX Data Objects Recorset library and check that too.

    That should help.
