    ZASS in Vista

Anyone had problems with ZASS version 7.1.78 in Vista Home premium - to date after loading install and running ZA indicates it has installed (meter 100%) then a another pop up indicates it is confiruring ZA but nothing happens have tried 3 times waiting 15 minutes, 1 hour and then three hours. So I reboot computer and while no ZA product appaers on the desktop it is in the progam files so clicking on this I expect the program to start but it just hangs. In addition to this my internet connection is disabled to get it back you MUST uninstall ZA after which everything is ok again. I tried the same process in Safe Mode and got exactly the same results. I posted a message to ZA and got some assistance but no solution, last email they were to phone me with a solution or work-a-round but once I told them that Safe Mode did not work the communication seem to be deadly silent much like there product. Can anyone assist please.

Have you disabled your A/V during the install? Is the account you are logged in with a member of the administrators group? Did you start tha ZA install exe with 'run as administrator'?

    Re: ZASS in Vista

All security items on the system were disable or turned off - the account I am logged into is the administrator -and yes did start ZA inital without run as administrator the as administrator neither worked. However, I received an email from CNET Download Dispatch: All-star apps today and trird their link after my post and guess what all worked fine. Makes one wonder the link ZA provided was in fact broken as per other discussion on this forum. Your help is appreciated and just maybe this post could save someone some heart ache. BTW during the download and run the program process the application advise me the run the process a second time before it was all ok.
