Strange error message when closing a form (Access 2002 SP3)

    Hello all.,

Occasionally, when I am closing a form using docmd.close I am getting a message
"The Microsoft Jet database engine could not find the object '~sq_cfrmUpdateUserLocation~sq_ccboNewLocation'. Make sure the object exists and that you"

Does anyone know what this is all about? From what I can determine the "~sq_cfrmUpdateUserLocation~sq_ccboNewLocation " business is Access's internal way of saving a query imbedded in the control's record source. What I am trying to understand is why this would be causing an issue when closing the form? It happens in both the MDE and MDB versions of the DB, and I have tried Repair and Compact to no avail.

    Thanks in advance

That sounds like corruption. Since Compact and Repair didn't help, try creating a blank new database and importing all database objects from the problem database into the new one. Test if the problem still occurs in the new database. If it does, try deleting the combo box cboNewLocation from the form frmUpdateUserLocation and creating it anew.
