    Setting Visibility of Textbox Control (2002)

    Hi,

    Is it possible to set the visibility of a textbox to not visible and if so how would I do it? I have a textbox on a form that is an autofill and would like to hide it from the user.

    Thanks,
    Leesha

    Simplest way is tyo use the "hidden" attribute, see example below:

    <input name="intInput" type="hidden" />

    Hi Jerry!

    This is what I originally had:
    <input type="text" name="T1" size="20" value="Hidden"></p>

    That didn't work. Then I tried putting in the attribute the way you had it written and and when viewed online it still wasn't hidden and Frontpage had changed the syntax to:
    <input name="input type="="Hidden" size="20"/> .................. adding the size attribute.

    The test site is innovationsunltd.com - the textbox with "hidden" shouldn't show.

    I'm clueless with what I'm missing.

    Thanks,
    Leesha

    Check your syntax as there is a rogue = sign

    This works

    <input name="input=" id="input" size="20" type="hidden">
