    Recover picture (XP/2003)

I have an Excel sheet that I "Insert", "Picture", "From File" a digital camera picture some time ago. Now I have a need for that picture in another application (FrontPage 2003).
The problem is that I can not find the .jpg picture on my hard drive picture folders. Is there any way to copy the inserted picture in Excel back to the desktop or
into a folder as a .jpg or .gif? That way I can use it in the other application.

    Your help is always welcomed.

Save your worksheet as a web page (.htm file). Excel will create a subfolder in the same folder as the .htm file with (among others) the picture as a file.

The first time I tried it I "File", "Save As", then changed it to a .htm, but this did not work.
I then tried "File", "Save as Web Page..." and it worked like a charm. <img src=/S/bananas.gif border=0 alt=bananas width=33 height=35>

What a SPEEDY accurate reply !

You already have a good solution, but an alternative is to right click on the photo in workbook and then click on copy. You can then paste it into any application that you want to receive it.
