edit emails (or save as...) (win xp office 2003)

I got a document, word i think, sent by email, but not as an attachment, rather as the body of the email. I want to edit a table in the document, but cant see how to do this, can I save the email as .doc or .rtf to make it useable in Word? Thanks in advance. frank

If the document is in RTF or HMT format, yes. Open the message, select File | Save As, if the message is rtf or html save the message the applicable format, then open and edit it in Word.

Open the message, then select Edit | Edit Message. You can then edit the message.
Or you can copy the contents of the e-mail and paste it into Word.
