    Adding Automatic Horizontal Lines (2003)

I've seen this, but when I try it on my own computer, it doesn't work.
If you type three or four *** you'll get an entire line of " * " as a type of divider
Same works for three or four ________ you'll get a wide, bold dividing line.
But mine doesn't work. Does anyone know about this Word Feature?
    Thanks.

    Select Tools | AutoCorrect Options...
Activate the 'AutoFormat As You Type' tab.
Tick the check box "Border lines" in the 'Apply as you type' section.
    Click OK.

Note: you have to press Enter after the 3 dashes, underscores, equal signs or asterisks.

    I had turned that off...
The one I thought it was was the option "*Bold" and _italic_ with real formatting"
    Anyway, thanks.
