    Error opening attachments (win2k w/ofc 2000 SR-1)

When trying to open any attachment I get the following msg: "Cannot create file: (atch name). Right click the folder you want to create the file in, and then click Properties in the shortcut menu to check your permissions for the folder"

I've checked the KB but all it seems to address are the security warnings. This is a show stopper for us!

    Thanks,

do you have the proper permissions to save ot the folder you are trying to save to? typically, if clicking on an attachment in outlook, the file is written to either temp or internet cache folder. i think Sr1 goes to the internet temp folder.

the location is stored in this registry key:
    HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftOffice<your version>OutlookSecurity
    OutlookSecureTempFolder

MJ....I opened all the Temp folders up to everyone and still no luck, I also checked the registry and the OutlookSecureTempFolder was not there.
