    Undoing text entry (Word 2003)

I've designed a UserForm with a text box for a date to be entered. Trying to use the AfterUpdate event of the text box to check for a valid date. If a correct date is not entered, how can I 'Undo' what's been typed? Thanks, Andy.

I'd use the Before Update event. This has a Cancel argument, if you set it to True, the user cannot leave the text box.
If you really want to undo, you'd have to store the previous value in a variable, but that's a lot of extra work.
