Displaying text with carriage returns (A97)

I'm building a string from a number of text boxes and displaying it in another 'txtFullString", with a carriage return -chr(13) - between each value. However when I display it in txtFullString, it shows it with control characters intead of putting each value on a new line.

E.g. where * is the control character, I want

    ABC*XYZ*FGH

    to look like

    ABC
    XYZ
    FGH

How do I get round this?

    &vbNewLine
    might replace your Chr(13)

*Besides, if you're on a PC, that specific command requires both a carriage return and a line feed. If you were a MacUser, only a carriage return. Unfortunately, it's too late for OS standards now.

Ah, but it took PCs to introduce a mouse with more than one button! <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15>

No it didn't. The Amigas had 3-button mice. Micro$oft wasn't exactly innovative in any regard when they first developed Windows! <img src=/S/devil.gif border=0 alt=devil width=15 height=15>

Although the explorer GUI is probably the most innovative interface in ages.
We know MAC had drag and drop first, but try dragging an entire directory for a batch file process on a MAC.
...besides didn't Apple basically buy the rights for their interface from the bunch at Xerox Parc?

Don't get me wrong...I love and loathe them both for their obvious reasons

    Amigas? You mean those little toys that some people used to *play* with? <img src=/S/laugh.gif border=0 alt=laugh width=15 height=15> Toys don't count. <img src=/S/evilgrin.gif border=0 alt=evilgrin width=15 height=15>
