What is the problem exactly? How did you try to relate the tables and where did it fail?

Thank you for your reply. I want to populate the field subject of the table Activities. This field subject exists in the table Nominations and i want to transfer the content into the table Activities. As you can see form the attachement, i tried to connect the tables with classid but i failed, also with Number and i also failed.I think i must create a one to many relationship, but the relation shows relations type indeterminate. Is there any othe rpossibility to populate the field subject in the table Activities ?

There is no way I can see that in the database!

You should be able to create an update query:
    - Create a new query in design view, based on the two tables.
    - Join the tables on the Number field (drag a line from Number in one table to Number in the other table).
    - Add the subject field from the Activities table to the query grid.
    - Select Query | Update Query.
    - Enter the following expression in the 'Update to' line:

    Nominations.subject

    - Select Query | Run to execute the query.
