    Mail merge in Excel (2003)

    Hi,

I have woman in my office who states she's been using Excel for a mail merge and had the toolbar in Excel to do the merge and was not using Word at all. Everything was going from Excel. Now the toolbar is missing. For the life of me I can't find a mail merge option in Excel and after searching for info am not sure it even exists. Is this woman nuts or is it me?

    Thanks,
    Leesha

Perhaps she was using the Avery Wizard ?

    Hi Alicia

Is your colleague using a mail merge Add-in such as PATools ?

You could probably investigate by looking in Tools | Add-Ins...

Since, as other have suggested, this user probably had a non-MS add-in tool on her installation, see if it has been unchecked by looking at the list of toolbars under View | ToolBars, and if there is nothing applicable there, look under Tools | Add-Ins for unchecked possible extensions.
