Exchange Outlook Data(2003<->2007) ( )

I am considering buying a laptop that will come with Office 2007, but I have two computers with Office 2003 and I don't want to pay to upgrade those copies. I would like to sync the Outlook data between all three computers. Can this merely be done by copying the pst files back and forth? If not, is there a utility available that will convert them back and forth?

Are you sure that it come with a full copy of Office 2007?
Most OEM's are providing a 30 day Trial version, this just may change your thinking!

Dave,
I would like some insight into that as well.
I recently was hired to go to work for a major corporation and they are supplying me with a Dell laptop. Their laptops are running Office 2003 and my laptop which I will be able to also use is running Office 2007.
Thanks John

O3 and O7 Outlook files are a oneway share as I am told. Outlook 07 can read a 03 PST file but OL03 can NOT read a 07 pst file.

Create and use .pst data files in different versions of Outlook - Outlook - Microsoft Office Online says that O2003 & O2007 share the same format. Versions older that 2003 can NOT open the default type of a PST created by O2003 or O2007. So, I think you can just copy the PST files.
