    Method Not Found Error (2003 converted to 2000)

    I'm getting a Method Not Found error on a form when executing the Me.Company.Setfocus instruction. "Company" is a legitimate field on the form. Any suggestions?

    Private Sub Form_Current()
    If IsNull(Me![Company]) Or Me![Company] = "" Then
    Me.Company.SetFocus
    Else
    Me.cboSelect.SetFocus
    End If
    End Sub

    Although running Access 2003, I am converting it to 2000. Is there some difference in that instruction between the two version?

    Company is the name of a legitimate field but did the textbox containing Company have as name Company or did you name it something else ? You have to use the name of the textbox with the Setfocus method. Not the name of the field.

    Also, make sure that the textbox name is NOT the same as the underlying field name.

    Thank to all. I should have remembered that syntax.
