    Aligning of numbers (2003)

    For some reason l cannot get numbers to align correctly to the right in the contents page, see screenshot.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Are you inserting the Table of Contents by going Insert - Reference - Index and Tables? If so, have you checked the box that says right align page numbers?

    Hi jj,

    You need to make sure that the TOC styles all have their right tabs set the same. To do this, select one of lines in the TOC where the numbers are in the preferred position. Now use Format|Style|Tabs to see where its right tab is positioned. Then for each of the other TOC styles, select the corresponding line in the TOC and use Format|Style|Tabs to delete the existing right tab and replace it with the positioning you want (remember to include the leader dots).
