    Music? (Powerpoint 2003)

I received a .pps file containing a number of slides and what must be an imbedded (?) musical selection. Unfortunately, the musical selection continues beyond the number of slides in the show (and visa-versa) in another .pps file I received. So, I opened it up with our version of PowerPoint and added (or removed) a few slides. Now the music stops after a few seconds. What did I do wrong? I want to tweak other .pps files sent to me in the same way, but I don't want to ruin what I already have. (To maintain the integrity of the original file, I "saved as" with a new name.)

    Re: Music? (Powerpoint 2003)

    Good morning

If you select Slide Show and then Custom Animation can you see the Music item in the Customs Animation pane on the right of your screen, if you can you can modify its behaviour by clicking the dropdown arrow and selecting the Effect Options.

If you cannot see it there maybe it has been placed on the Master Slide, that said however if you deleted a few slides I would suspect that one of them was the one with the music placed on it.

    Hope that helps

Asking the questions everbody wants the answers too but feels too stupid to ask themselves :-)
