    2002 NOT Handling 2003 Meeting Requests (2002 SP3)

    Hi There

Where am I going wrong? My wife and I have for several years swapped meeting requests between various versions of Outlook without issue. A recent change of job and a new PC for me seems to have broken something!

Recently my wifes Outlook 2002/XP based PC has just refused to process meeting requests sent from MY Windows XP Pro 64 OR Windows Vista and Outlook 2003 based PC's. All meeting requests are sent via POP3 e-mail. On my wife's PC my meeting requests arrive as plain text which look like they ought to be valid vCalendar format. My wife can send me meeting requests which work fine.

All relevant updates have been loaded on both PC's, I think.... Any help/advice/pointers greatly appreciated.

    Cheers
    Peter

    Problem sorted!

On MY Outlook 2003 installation - Go into "Options", "Select Calendar Options" in the Preferences Tab, bottom third of window titled "Advanced options", uncheck the option "When sending meeting requests over the Internet, use iCalendar format"

    Cheers
    Peter
