    Powerpoint Viewer (2003&2007)

Just a rather whimsical question, but can anyone explain why
Powerpoint Viewer 2003 is a 1.9 MB download, whereas
Powerpoint Viewer 2007 is a 25.8 MB download?

Is it likely to be simply because of the new 2007 Open XML file formats? (That's a major overhead if it is!)

The 2007 viewer itself isn't big, but the download includes the Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack for Office 2007.

If the files OART.DLL and OARTCONV.DLL are what you're referring to, then that's nearly 22 MB of the total!

That goes a long way towards explaining the difference...
